The galaxy over your head. Isn't it beautiful? These are actually Christmas baubles, stars and lightbulbs.
It's amazing, isn't it?

We were so captured by it that we went again at night!

If you noticed, as it's dark outside, you won't be able to see light seeping inside, therefore, the twinkling bulbs showed up better.

I've been wanting to post these photos for long. Somehow, the got stashed and never saw the light.
Now they are here! My scanner isn't working, so I had to digitally photograph these photographs. (No pun intended.) They seriously look better in real life, but this is the only alternative I have now, so please make do with these.
These are actually developed on film as it's not shot using digital camera. Also, I'm using a medium format film, and because of the camera lens, these photos appear square.
A little secret here: These photos are not digitally altered. They're only cropped for size. ;) My lo-fi camera is awesome, isn't it? *laughs*

I took this picture sometime ago, when I was on my way to watch MAYDAY's Concert. It's more like an accidental shot. It's actually not that dark in reality, but I guess my camera settings made the photo appear dark. Also, you can see that the photo is a little pixellated, cos I forgot to adjust the settings properly. It's only when I got home, then I realised. I like it anyway, so I didn't retake it. This place was formerly a Sports Council of some kind, but it's really empty now. It kinda looks like a prison, don't you think so?

I went to Changi Village Hotel for a seminar today. After that, I took some time to have a quiet stroll at the beach. Though it was drizzling and there were strong winds, I was feeling very relaxed as I watched the sea and the waves...

I just edited the photos for size.

There was a guy fishing in the waters...

I really like the sky, it's a hazy shade of blue, very mysterious!

This photo is pure accident! A raindrop fell on the lens, creating this misty halo. I really like it! ^^

I spotted a cat and her kitten. So cute!

And there was a statue of the Ma Zu (Goddess of the sea) and 2 Indian deities under a tree....
Singapore is indeed a country where different races live in harmony -- including deities!!

There was a red moon in the sky some nights ago~! I was very amazed by it. First time seeing a red moon. I wonder if there are any vampires around. ^^
Does anyone know what causes the moon to appear red?

Not a typical MUCC song, but I really like the guitars and bassline in this one!

ムック – カナリア

I'm so in love with this song that it's been replaying all day. The front part of the song sounds a little hard to swallow... You'll need a lil time to get used to it. But the chorus is awesome! It's like.. TOTALLY MY STYLE! I really love how the song seemed 'detached' at certain parts, but blends really well in a whole.

Now, this is one of my favourite songs of all time. Yes, it's that powerful!

Too bad it doesn't have a PV. >.<

Singapore River

I brought some kids out for excursion today, and we toured around the Singapore River and Merlion Park. The weather was pretty cloudy, so I don't have the typical Singaporean "sunny island' pictures. I used my lousy iPhone to take these pictures, cos I don't really have the mood to take photos. But then, an accidental shot was followed by a series of unexpected pictures.

I think this is the first time I really explored my iPhone to the best of my ability. Well, the pictures aren't very clear, but it gives off some low-res grainy vibe which I think is pretty apt for 'heritage shots'.

In this series, I tried to take photos that are somewhat atypical of what people would normally expect. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I took it.

Merlion park.

The Singapore Flyer is the tallest ferris wheel in the world. It's about 42 storeys high. The colourful floating platform is where National Day parades are often held.

I assume they build this Chinesey-looking MacDonald's to blend in with the surrounding shophouses?

Accidental shot, hence the distortion.

The 'river taxi' is a reminiscent of the old boats in the 60s that were used to transport goods.

These little flowers at the side of the walkway caught my eye. They are so bright and colourful against the grey tiles.

The old, or the new?

Cavenagh bridge is the only suspension bridge and one of the oldest in Singapore.

The Fullerton Hotel is also one of the oldest hotel in Singapore.

The sun was pretty strong at some point of time.

I thought the rays were pretty funny.

A hand of a statue that is often touched by the public. It became pretty worn out.

This is one of my favourite pub.

Of course, I took some other shots of random things, but I don't think they quite fit in here. I'll share more next time. ^^

Mayday DNA Concert 2009 Photos

Hmm. I didn't really expect they'd let me go in with my camera. One Otaku looking guy behind me had a DSLR with zoom lens. I regret not bringing mine. T_T But nevertheless, I caught some pics! (I especially love the close up ones ^^) The concert itself is interesting and pretty high... But being a 'no-fan', I am really not familiar with their songs. Maybe I should start being a fan now? LOL!

End roll! The whole concert ended at about 12:30am. They kinda extended the whole thing cos it's their 10th anniversary and they are happy. ^^

My bad attempt at translation:

This is my foundation. It's really good to use. But the cover is so ugly!

My bling bling crystals. Gawd, they ARE expensive.
(I bought them on impulse! )

So what do you think of the new cover of my foundation? I'm not good with crafts, I admit.
I know it's very messy and colourful... But I like punk-decora mode.
This took me 45 minutes... Most if the time was spent on the crystals.
Do give me your honest opinions! I want to improve on this!

The scan of it. Somehow it looks better when flipped. I guess the reason so is due to the crumpled paper at the right hand side, and it kinda made the face distorted when I scanned it.
