Okays! I did this today, cos I had the inspiration. It's only 40% completed. I wanted to draw a milky way kinda thing on her hair. I think her gaze is too stern, I'm gonna soften it. After finishing the basic painting, I'm gonna "DESTROY" it. So.. Keep a look out if you're interested!

This came about when I was planning some sketches for my upcoming project " PERFECT WORLD". It started as random doodles. I was a little lost for inspiration, and decided to draw something cute. This took me less than 5 mins. Since it's the kind of doodles I draw without planning and whatsoever, I plan to leave it as it is. So yes, this is final.

I named this 「Festival Girl 」 because it reminds me of young girls who go to these はなび festival, with all the elaborate hairstyles and ribbons.

(ご飯さん project is on hiatus on now. I think I *might* have met him in real life. ^__~)

I think the scan sucks... The paper is crumpled and the lines didn't show up like I wished.

I tired drawing on wooden plank this time round, since I thought the traditional guy should have something that can match his 'ancient-ness'.

It's been an hour or so since I started... Nothing much came out... I planned his pose and had the outline sketched. Somehow, I couldn't bring that particular expression I wanted out. It's like knowing how it looked like, but not being able to find the lines to express it. Also, it doesn't help when my eyes get all blurry and painful.

I can say it's one of my most painful attempt at drawing someone. :/

So I was talking about this eye-patch, cigarette smoking guy in my previous entry. Now he's here. I have yet to name him. ^^l
